Hong Kong shop till you drop

As is well known, Hong Kong is a shopping heaven in the world. You can find everything you are  with very good price here, especially consumer electronics, clothes and make up products, since Hong Kong has no sales tax.....but for us, it's a Terrible and Horrible trip !!

Day 1: KL --> Hong Kong --> Lodging --> Tsin Sha Zui (Water Front,  Arena of Star, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Clock Tower) --> Mong Kok (Ladies Market)

On arrive, I almost wasted an hour for just searching on the best way to get into our lodging. So,  remember do your research before your trip begin your journey.

The Airport Express train was quicker but expensive. Price is about HKD100 per person per way. And we've decided to took a cheaper way by using airport bus service (A21) HKD 33 per person. It may take longer time to our lodging but at least we can have more $$  for shopping..shopping...shopping.

By the way, don't forget to buy your Octopus card  when you arrive at the Hong Kong airport . You can purchase the card at the special kiosk near the exit to the express train.

The price of the Octopus card Adult: Deposit HKD50 + Stored Value HKD100 = HKD150.

Double decker bus

You won't get lost with the road sign.

這些交叉路口,就像對我們的生活而言的某些差別迥然的交點.

Perfect spot for watching fireworks too (if you can handle crowds).

Starbucks always the best place for us to rest after the long distance walking.

所谓:景色优美,美女陪伴.那里可以少了我这为霉女呢?

After a cup of coffee, we have to continue our journey before we miss the world largest sound and light show.

Symphony of Lights is staged every night at 8:00 p.m

A Symphony of Lights is a famous laser lights and music show in Hong Kong. It is presented by the Hong Kong Tourism Commission through organizing 44 skyscrapers and landmarks that lie on the sides of the Victoria Habour. Through interactive lighting and music show, it shows the vibrancy and glamorous night view of the city. The local Tourism Commission initiated the project in 2004, and it was formally included in the "Guinness Book of World Records'' as the world largest lighting and music show on Nov. 21, 2005.

In Hong Kong, Dragon Boat Carnival is also one of the world’s greatest parties every year. Thousands of the world’s top dragon boat athletes battle it out in Hong Kong International Dragon Boat races.
